This is a full-time contractor role payable at $25 per hour
We are seeking a customer-focused IT Tech Bar Specialist to serve as the face of our IT Department, providing first-line technical support in an office environment. This role will be responsible for assisting users with IT issues, troubleshooting, and ensuring a high level of service resolution at the first point of contact.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide in-person IT support at the Tech Bar / IT Point of Service, assisting employees with technical issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity problems in an Office IT environment.
Utilize a ticketing system to track, document, and manage IT support requests.
Assist with user account management, including Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
Support mobile device management (MDM) processes, with experience in Microsoft Intune being a plus.
Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Offer guidance and training to employees on IT best practices and self-service solutions.
Maintain IT equipment and ensure proper configuration for end-users.
Required Skills & Experience :
Strong customer service skills with a proactive and friendly approach.
Experience working with IT ticketing systems.
Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environment.
Basic troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience :
Experience with ServiceNow for IT support ticket management.
Knowledge of Verizon account management for mobile devices.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune for mobile device management.
Work Environment :
Team-based role, working collaboratively to support end-users.
Office-based, requiring hands-on troubleshooting and face-to-face customer interaction.
