This is a full-time contractor role payable at $28 per hour
We are seeking a customer-focused IT Deskside Support / Point of Service Technician to provide walk-up desktop support and request management for our office environment. As the first point of contact for IT-related issues, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving, and escalating technical concerns while ensuring a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide walk-up IT support for office staff, assisting with desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues.
Manage IT service requests and incidents, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
Perform Active Directory user management, including account creation, updates, and troubleshooting.
Handle device warranty repairs and coordinate with vendors as needed.
Maintain and manage mobile devices through Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms.
Document support tickets accurately in the IT service management system.
Collaborate with team members to improve IT support processes and enhance user satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience :
Experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar role.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with mobile device management and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Active Directory for user and device management.
Ability to document IT issues and resolutions effectively.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) :
Experience with ServiceNow or other IT service management (ITSM) tools.
Previous experience in an IT support role within a corporate environment.
Work Environment :
Collaborative team environment.
Office-based role with direct interaction with employees needing IT support.
