This is a full-time contractor role payable at $28 per hour

We are seeking a 3rd Shift IT Support Technician to provide desk-side support in a manufacturing IT environment . This role involves installing, repairing, configuring, and upgrading end-user devices , as well as assisting with office moves, setups, and minimal data migrations . The technician will also be responsible for answering support calls, creating tickets, and performing first-level troubleshooting , including in-person support within the manufacturing production environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Deploy, configure, and support end-user devices (PCs, laptops, peripherals).

Provide desk-side support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

Answer IT support calls, log incidents in ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems, and perform initial troubleshooting.

Walk through the manufacturing production environment to diagnose and resolve IT issues in person.

Assist with office moves, device setups, and minimal data migrations .

Document all work performed in compliance with company standards.

Collaborate within a team to ensure efficient IT operations during the 3rd shift.

Technical Skills & Experience :

Previous IT experience is preferred , especially in a manufacturing IT environment .

Basic understanding of Active Directory and enterprise IT systems.

Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Soft Skills & Additional Qualifications :

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment .

Comfortable working on-site in a manufacturing setting .

Must be able to work the 3rd shift schedule .

Shift : Sunday night - 7 : 30 PM - 6 : 30 AM

Monday night through Thursday night - 9 : 30 PM - 6 : 30 AM

Friday night - 9 : 30 PM - 6 : 30 AM
