IT Installation Technician- Whippany, NJ

**This is a full-time contractor role payable at $26 per hour**

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Installation Technician to assist with asset disposal and reclaim, inventory management, device distribution, and general IT infrastructure tasks. This role will involve hands-on support, including floor walking, cabling, and ensuring proper IT equipment setup and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage asset disposal and reclamation processes in compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of IT assets and devices.
• Distribute and deploy IT equipment to employees as needed.
• Perform floor walking to provide hands-on support and identify IT-related issues.
• Assist with cabling, connectivity troubleshooting, and basic IT infrastructure maintenance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operations of office technology.

Required Skills Experience:

• Experience with IT asset management and inventory tracking.
• Basic understanding of cabling and IT infrastructure setup.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills Experience:
