- This is a full-time contractor role payable at $27 per hour
We are looking for an experienced IT Support and Asset Management Technician to join our team. The role involves managing IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, assisting with device distribution, and providing hands-on support for IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cabling, general IT infrastructure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities :
Asset Disposal and Reclaim :
Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including reclaiming, cleaning, and preparing devices for disposal or redeployment.
Inventory Capture and Management :
Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, updating records for new devices, replacements, and disposals.
Device Distribution :
Facilitate the distribution of IT devices, ensuring they are properly configured and delivered to end-users.
Floor Walking and User Support :
Perform regular floor walks to address technical issues, check equipment functionality, and provide on-the-spot support.
Cabling and Infrastructure Support :
Manage and maintain cabling for workstations and IT infrastructure, ensuring a clean and organized setup.
Qualifications :
