3 Month initial contract
2nd shift- 2:45pm-11:00pm
Monday-Friday.
$20.51/hr
$1,000 completion bonus at end of contract!
Packaging Operator:
Manage production lines to meet the established production schedule in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Principles (GMPs) while monitoring product to ensure quality standards are maintained. Operating high-speed equipment for the manual or automated assembly, filling, packaging and labeling of pharmaceutical products while ensuring adherence to specifications.
Daily Tasks include:
- Operations of Production Lines: Effectively operate production line. Maintain change parts and tooling in base condition. Support setup of production line and equipment.
- Setup of Production Lines : Assist in setup of automated equipment in primary or secondary packaging area.
- Line Performance/OEE: Monitor assigned production lines for performance and identify/resolve performance related operation issues.
- Line Clearance: Perform housekeeping cleans on the finishing lines.
- Quality Tasks : Perform Quality impactful tasks throughout the production run, including but not limited to challenges, parameters, pulling samples, in-process checks and bulk/commodity accountability. Ability to identify product defects.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Troubleshoot minor equipment related issues and performs minor adjustments to improve equipment efficiencies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Technical One (1) year related work experience, preferably in a high-speed production or manufacturing environment. pharmaceutical manufacturing background preferred.
- have worked in an GMP environment
- Familiar with operating systems SAP experience/ familiar with Microsoft office
- Physically able to lift up to 40 lbs. Physically able to bend, climb, lift, squat, stoop, and stretch to reach frequently throughout entire shift.
- Maintenance/technical background with troubleshooting equipment, performing machine set-ups, cleaning equipment
- Additional Information:
- Overtime and weekend work can be mandatory based on workload
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Pay: $20.51 per hour
