Job Description
- Lead and manage financial audits, reviews, and compilations for a diverse client base, including for-profit, nonprofit, and government organizations.
- Supervise and guide engagement teams, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
- Prepare and review financial statements, compliance reports, and client documentation.
- Maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to provide additional services.
- Stay current on evolving audit and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
- Train and mentor junior team members to support their professional growth.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license (or CPA-eligible for Staff Auditors).
- Minimum 4 years of external audit experience in public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS (GAS experience is a plus).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/audit software.
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and manage client expectations effectively.
