Job Description:
- Provide legal and administrative support in probate, trust administration, and estate planning matters
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, client correspondence, and estate planning forms
- Communicate extensively with clients, executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and court personnel
- Manage and track multiple cases to ensure deadlines are met
- Prepare asset transfer documents such as account documentation, assignments, and beneficiary forms
- Assist with billing, accounts payable, and receivable
- Maintain and manage the firm’s online e-filing system and case calendars
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a law firm, with a focus on probate, trust administration, and estate planning
- Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience in probate/trust administration
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document software (experience with HotDocs is a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client and attorney interaction
