Description
The Automation Specialist performs root-cause analysis and analytical problem solving to resolve higher level electrical, PLC and MES issues in the manufacturing plant. Oversight and ownership of all such elements in the Plant. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and programming PLC’s, HMI’s and drives. They will also conduct troubleshooting and repairs on electrical issues and conduct preventative maintenance on plant equipment.
Requirements :
A candidate for this role should have experience with PLC and HMI (Allen Bradley, Siemens) troubleshooting, programming and components. They should understand and able to read mechanical and electrical prints, diagrams, and technical repair manuals. Candidates should also have administrative and clerical knowledge / experience such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology.
