Position Details:
Title: Millwork Production Supervisor
Location: High Point, NC
Shift: M-F, 7:30am-5:00pm
Compensation: $75k salary
Benefits: Standard package with 410k 3% match
Position Description:
The Millwork Production Supervisor oversees the custom machining process of door frames, composite trim and associated component items to support the growth of the company’s Cellular PVC business. Ensures efficient production, quality control and adherence to safety standards. This role involves managing a team, coordinating with other departments and optimizing production schedules to meet demand. The supervisor is responsible for implementing the best practices, maintaining equipment and ensuring that all products meet the customer specifications and industry standards. Strong leadership, problem solving skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes are essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and participate in the manufacturing of composite door frames, trim, and associated component items to meet customer specifications.
- Develop and supervise the end-to-end manufacturing process, including a quality programto ensures the Division meets stated lead times, customer specifications, and final shipment of finished product to customers.
- Develop and supervise a manufacturing plan that is visible to all company stakeholders
- Coordinate with inside sales team and customers directly to confirm product specifications, communicate lead times, product availability, and problem resolution.
- Proactively track open orders and provide updates to the inside sales team.
- Provide weekly updates on the manufacturing plan/schedule, raw material availability, and available manufacturing capacity.
- Supervise and participate in the labeling, packaging, and shipment of finished product.
- Supervise and participate in the receiving of all raw materials related to composite door frame manufacturing operations.
- Develop and supervise preventative and corrective maintenance plans to support daily manufacturing operations; and serve as the lead contact between company and machine manufacturers. Ensure all regulatory requirements are met for materials, products, safety, and training.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Management, Logistics, or related field; and/or equivalent experience and/or training.
- Experience with millwork components, specifically related to residential doors
- Experience leading or working in manufacturing cells, previous supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and/or other design drawings
- Strong work ethic and the ability to manage adversity and overcome obstacles
- Must possess a high level of attention to detail, initiative, and bias for action
- Strong communications skills; written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- This position requires routine walking, standing, bending and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- The selected candidate will need to reside in or relocate within a daily commutable distance from High Point, NC.
