Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner who will play a crucial role in our development team. Key responsibilities include gathering detailed requirements, analyzing processes, documenting workflows, assigning projects to developers, and conducting user acceptance testing. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities
To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the following competencies :
- Collaborate closely with software development teams on current deliverables.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including the executive team, to gather requirements.
- Document detailed requirements for the development team (user stories).
- Maintain and prioritize the team’s backlog.
- Provide progress updates and demonstrations to stakeholders and executives.
- Address business inquiries from the development team.
- Attend Product Owner training and pursue certification.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Physical Demands
The role requires regular office duties, including sitting, standing, and walking. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively, lift light objects (up to 25 lbs), and use standard office equipment. Occasional bending, twisting, or reaching may be necessary.
Work Environment
The office environment is fast paced and collaborative. An employee must be willing to work their regularly assigned work schedule, and in times of need, be able to work an extended schedule depending on company or departmental needs, project requirements, or customer demands.
