We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Home Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential properties to assess their condition and identify any potential issues. Your expertise will help homeowners make informed decisions regarding their properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a knack for negotiation, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to clients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive home inspections, evaluating structural integrity, electrical systems, plumbing, roofing, and other critical components of residential properties.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports that clearly outline findings and recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain inspection results and answer any questions they may have.
- Utilize technology tools to enhance the inspection process and report generation.
- Engage in territory management by maintaining relationships with real estate agents, homeowners, and other stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services based on inspection findings.
- Participate in business development activities to expand the company’s client base through cold calling and networking.
Experience
- No experience needed, in house training provided .
- Strong background in sales or territory sales is advantageous, with demonstrated skills in negotiating and upselling services.
- Familiarity with technology sales or inside sales techniques is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess property conditions accurately.
- Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with clients and presenting findings clearly.
