We also practice full scope dentistry from preventative treatment to fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, and implant single tooth replacement.

Requirements:
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Outstanding positive attitude and demeanor
- Willing to go the extra mile for patient care and comfort
- Strong social and people skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficient at typing, charting, and using the computer
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter (does not need hand-holding)
- Stays busy and does not need to be told what to do
- Strong moral compass (No lying, stealing, cheating)
- Applicants must be dependable and early/on-time and ready to work
- Willing to go the extra mile to help doctor and fellow colleagues
- Experience using Open Dental a plus
- Spanish speaking a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service for the patient
- Assist the doctor with dental procedures
- Take radiographs quickly and efficiently
- Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors’ schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times.
- Help clean the office and treatment rooms including but not limited to mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting common areas and operatories
- Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart
- Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfully
- Verify patient health history, medications, and document appropriately
- Assist with other office duties including check-in, check-out, answering the phone, scheduling patients, insurance verification and eligibility confirmation, and posting payment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
