Title Clerk

Title Clerk - Automotive
The Title Clerk position will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of vehicle titles by verifying title information, interacting with clients and others agencies to resolve issues. Additional responsibilities will include knowledge of departmental policies and procedures, products and services offered and general office operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent front-line customer experience
• Make sure customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention.
• Maintain a professional appearance and orderly work environment.
• Front Office filing and assistance with records retention and archive files as scheduled.
• Process information in a professional and confidential manner.
• Review titles for negotiability and accuracy.
• Complete documentation and data entry.
• Facilitate completion of auction/purchase process.
• Communicate with clients, answering questions and resolving issues, escalating as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating as necessary.
• Follow departmental procedures and policies.
• Assist in cross training of team members.

Qualifications:

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 2 years of professional office experience
• Previous automotive title experience, required
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in fast paced environment team environment
• Provide excellent customer service
• Effective time management and task prioritization
• Compensation is dependent upon experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
