We have a Part-time opportunity for a skilled and ambitious professional that compliments our office culture of counselors and intern staff. Duties include assisting the Office Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy outpatient mental health office.
Desired skills include excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform well in sensitive and stressful situations. Professional communication skills (face-to-face, email, and phone) are necessary to engage with patients, clinicians, insurance payers, lawyers, and other related medical professionals.
We are seeking an energetic, multi-tasking professional that has keen attention to detail, and who exhibits an intuitive tendency to take initiative in identifying the needs of the office would. Experience with medical/mental health billing and prior administrative experience is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook) is required.
Main tasks include the following: Assisting the Office Manager in implementing and monitoring office policies and procedures, training office staff, overseeing billing and the financial aspects of the practice, supervising patient and staff scheduling, ensuring compliance with procedures for patient care and front desk duties, and resolving patient care and billing concerns.
