What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult/Continuing Education TABE/BEST Test Administrator (PT)- Posted 3/6/25 position at Orleans-Niagara BOCES?
Anticipated initial assignment is Lockport Community Education Center, Lockport, NY. The individual will oversee the TABE/BEST (Test of Adult Basic Education for English and Non-English speaking students) for new students to assess reading and math proficiency. The individual will keep records of all test results and complete intake forms for all students. Excellent communication skills, being organized, and TABE/BEST professional development training are desired. The individual should have or be eligible for certification upon hire. It is anticipated that an individual will qualify for certification with successful completion of fingerprinting and three workshops. Regular attendance and dependability are required. Other responsibilities may be assigned. Assignment is subject to change. Salary: $34.00 per hour.
