POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Payable Manager is responsible for Accounts Payable transactions for Ornua Ingredients, NA. This role will ensure that all transactions related to payments to Suppliers, as well as employee reimbursements are managed, recorded and reported in a timely fashion. This role also serves as a liaison for all procurement related inquiries and has daily communication with internal and external departmental key stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide oversight and leadership to 3-4 Accounts Payable Analysts, some of whom will be remote in Whitehall, WI and Hillsboro, WI.
Monthly reconciliation of Goods Received, Not Invoiced (GRNI)
Responsible for daily invoice coding and voucher entry.
Process invoices that are to be paid to other companies in an expeditious manner.
Prepare and process the weekly accounts payable payment run.
Upload batch files to Bank of America
Safekeeping of blank checks
Verify credit card purchases/statements and processing the monthly credit card payment.
Prepare weekly financial reports for management within the company.
Analyze company accounts for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
Accurately enter data into the Microsoft Dynamics SL and Docuware which are utilized to ensure proper tracking of daily transactions
Act as the point of contact for all supplier questions pertaining to Accounts Payable information.
Interact with various departments to obtain approvals and problem solve as any issues may arise.
Front Desk coverage as needed
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate degree in Accounting
3-5 years related accounts payable experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES/COMPETENCIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THIS JOB SUCCESSFULLY:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Write professional reports, prepare presentations and other business correspondence
Work as a member of a team and effectively lead a small team

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sit in a stationary position up to 80% of workday Walk occasionally as needed to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Use hands/fingers to handle or feel, Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare office related items
Constantly operates a computer, phone and other office machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, computer printer, etc.
Communicate verbally with employees and customers.
Vision requirements include reading computer screens, identifying colors, anticipating employees and visitors.
Ability to lift and carry office related items up 25 pounds as needed in the office (supplies)
Works in general office conditions regularly
May be exposed to general manufacturing operations requiring personal protective equipment such as uniform, bump cap, safety glasses and hearing protection
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Team of 3-4 people, some remotely located
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional local travel
Quarterly travel to Whitehall and Hillsboro for 1-2 nights
