    Description: Special Education Bus Aide

    Elementary School Bus Aide
    • AM Shift: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM (approximately 1 hour a day)
    • PM Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM (approximately 1 hour a day)
    Job Summary:
    • Monitor student while on school bus
    • Recognize and meet the individual needs of the student being transported

    Qualifications:

    • Meet the physical requirements of the job, which may entail lifting, bending, and twisting.
    • An ability to handle situations with a calm demeanor.
    • A high level of compassion for students with developmental disabilities is essential.

    Pay Rate: Starting at $20.89/hour, depending on experience.

    Bargaining Group and Level: Paraeducators/Special Education Para
