SUPERINTENDENT - Fire Alarm
JOB SUMMARY
Our Superintendents work in the field to perform installations of fire alarm and clean agent / special hazard suppression systems. They serve as a lead on the job site for other ORR Protection technicians and subcontractors and are critical to the quality work and customer service ORR is known for. Must be located in or around the Fredericksburg, VA area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- All team members must embody the company mission to provide protection for people, property, and the environment in all aspects of their job.
- Perform installations of fire alarm and clean agent / special hazard suppression systems according to ORR work instructions and applicable codes.
- Take a lead role at customer sites, providing oversight and direction to other ORR technicians or sub-contractors.
- Work with the Project Manager and Install Coordinator to keep the customer informed on job progress.
- Complete all necessary job-related paperwork for compliance and documentation.
- Respond to emergency service requests and take appropriate action.
- Perform in depth trouble shooting, repair and replacement of system equipment.
- Conduct training with customer on the functionality of the fire system.
- Other duties as assigned.
