As a Clean Room Technician II, we are looking for a self-starter to work in a Clean Room environment. Processing medical device components throughout the clean room with full PPE (Jumpsuit and glasses) and tasks in packaging. This full-time onsite position is available to start immediately and is a great opportunity in the exciting medical device industry.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift: 2nd Shift, (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
Your responsibilities:
- Follow detailed process instructions for ultrasonic cleaning, visual & function inspection, assembly, and packaging of both sterile and nonsterile orthopedic medical devices. Including: Complying with FDA, ISO, and ODEV policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Work inside a cleanroom environment which includes wearing safety glasses, Tyvek suit & hood, hair net, beard cover or mask (if applicable), shoe covers, and nitrile gloves.
- Clean room technicians perform functions on their feet for extended periods of time.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure line clearance and facilitate production functions.
- Properly complete required paperwork for tasks accomplished to maintain traceability.
- Technicians will generally be assigned to work within a specific area during the day and will independently be responsible to stay focused on task and complete the required production volume.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years medical device or other regulated filed such as food/beverage, aerospace, etc.
- Reading, understanding and following production procedures.
- General computer skills
- Standing for long periods of time
- Working independently and staying focused on task
- Read, write and understand English.
