As a Production Supervisor, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Ortho Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a cleanroom facility, ensuring that all activities within the space adhere to strict cleanliness and quality standards, including proper gowning procedures, environmental monitoring, and compliance with relevant regulations, while managing a team of cleanroom technicians and maintaining proper documentation of all processes.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shift: 2nd Shift, (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
Your responsibilities:
- Supervise Production Operations: Oversee daily production activities to ensure compliance with production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Cleanroom Management: Maintain and enforce cleanroom protocols to ensure a sterile production environment.
- LEAN Implementation: Apply LEAN manufacturing principles to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of production staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet all regulatory and company standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance production performance.
- Reporting: Prepare and present production reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in a cleanroom environment.
- LEAN Certification: Certification in LEAN manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
- People Management: Proven experience in managing and developing a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in production management software and tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred experience in the medical device or orthopedic industry.
- Preferred knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA).
- Team-Oriented: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
