Primary Responsibilities
- Manage expired material allocation process converting monthly supply plan into manufacturing work orders. Pick and stage material to ensure transportation cut-off schedules are adhered to.
- Support ongoing activities as needed to disposition slow moving expired materials.
- Executes activities to convert the Expired Material Detailed Schedule Created orders to Created order status. Provides feedback to the Buyer Planner regarding execution of the Created order
- Assure initial Detailed Scheduling Plan ERP planning start and due dates are properly captured at work order release.
- Oversee purchased item rework process. Facilitate demand analysis and coordinate disposition of material, including scrap execution and coordination with ME to create rework router and FM0039
- Identify rework location internal / external with support team, determining capability and capacity to execute. Create rework work order for in-house activities.
- Facilitate external rework process when applicable coordinating with appropriate Buyer for the OSP PO generation. Consolidate documentation, prep and move impacted items to shipping assure product progression.
- Key metrics to include material aging and cost reduction of rework inventory locations.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma
- Minimum three years of Planning and Manufacturing or related experience
- Experience working in the medical device industry or a regulated industry preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP systems (D365 preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objective
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills required in the area of verbal and written communications, customer focus and professionalism, self-starter
