What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Certification Coordinator position at ORTHO TENNESSEE?
Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic is seeking a Pre-Certification Coordinator to join our Revenue Cycle team for a Monday through Friday opportunity with flexible scheduling in West Knoxville. The Pre-Certification Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining authorizations and precertifications for upcoming patient injections. Additionally, this role will submit all required information to include procedure and diagnosis codes to utilization management teams, insurance companies, and MCOs, as well as notifies appropriate parties of authorizations or denials, working in conjunction with providers to resolve denials. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, ability to work independently and as a team.
