As a Medical Biller with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
- Review and verify the accuracy of billing and coding to ensure compliance and correct charge submission.
- Submit insurance claims and proactively follow up on unpaid claims to ensure timely resolution.
- Address patient inquiries regarding billing questions, providing clear and accurate information.
- Process payments, perform account reconciliations, and ensure that all financial records are up to date.
- Maintain patient records in accordance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.
- Stay informed on changes in billing and coding regulations to ensure continued compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical billing and coding.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical billing software.
