We are a small family-owned private practice, serving our community for more than 50 years. We are Ophthalmology/Optometry practice in Scottsdale looking for an on-site Medical Biller who is reliable, detail-oriented, and seeking long-term employment.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure all Account Receivables (A/R) are continually worked in a timely manner in order to collect all revenue possible.
- Communicate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to address billing inquiries and resolve payment issues
- Enter payments from all sources
- Verify appropriate medical codes and process claims for reimbursement
- Send statements monthly
- Stay up-to-date with changes in medical coding guidelines and regulations
Desired experience:
- Certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and CPT coding
- Familiarity with insurance claim processing and reimbursement procedures
