Position Overview:
As a Facilities Coordinator at OrthoArkansas, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, functionality, and overall upkeep of our facilities. Your responsibilities will include performing general maintenance tasks such as painting, repairing walls, installing and maintaining equipment, and relocating furniture. Additionally, you’ll assist the Facilities Director with daily operations, manage work orders, and respond to after-hours emergencies, ensuring our clinics remain in top condition for both staff and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
1. General Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks across all properties, including painting, patching walls, and maintaining equipment.
- Change or clean air filters and ensure that all safety equipment is properly maintained.
- Relocate or install furniture and equipment as needed to support clinic operations.
2. Facility Management:
- Respond to facility issues reported through maintenance software, addressing concerns quickly and efficiently.
- Handle emergency situations such as leaks, lock malfunctions, mechanical breakdowns, or any issues that could disrupt clinic operations.
- Coordinate with vendors or contractors to resolve facility issues and support new projects.
3. Emergency Response:
- Be on call for after-hours emergencies, providing prompt and effective solutions to urgent facility concerns.
4. Additional Duties:
- Assist the Facilities Director with daily operations and perform any other related duties as required or assigned to support the overall functionality and safety of the clinic.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required, with an emphasis on office skills, shop skills, or related areas.
- 0 to 6 months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in maintenance and/or construction is preferred.
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Valid Driver's License.

- Basic proficiency in spreadsheet management and word processing/typing.
