Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and test Verkada security systems (cameras, access control, alarms, and sensors).
- Mount and wire cameras, access control devices, and networking hardware, ensuring clean and professional installations.
- Integrate Verkada solutions with existing client networks and systems.
- Perform site surveys to determine optimal installation locations and infrastructure requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Verkada hardware and software.
- Educate clients on the use and functionality of their Verkada systems.
- Document installations, configurations, and system details for internal records and client reference.
- Ensure compliance with safety and installation standards.
- Install and configure TV and video wall systems for various environments.
- Set up and maintain digital signage solutions, ensuring optimal performance and visual quality.
- Configure and troubleshoot AV equipment in conference rooms, including projectors, screens, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
- Perform low voltage wiring tasks, including installation, termination, and testing of cables.
- Travel will be required to support remote locations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Required experience with Verkada access control systems, or similar system.
- Proven experience in Access Control installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of low voltage wiring and IT networking principles.
- Experience with digital signage and conference room AV setups.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple locations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various environments.
