What You'll Do
As a Business Office Assistant at OrthoAtlanta, you’ll:
- Patient Check-In/Check-Out: Greet patients, manage appointments, and ensure accurate registration
- Insurance & Payments: Verify insurance coverage, collect co-pays, post payments, and prepare daily deposit reports
- Chart Management: Review charts for accuracy and completeness, prepare for next-day services
- Cash Handling: Create and balance cashier reports, ensure accuracy in daily reconciliation
- Team Support: Assist clinical staff and help maintain a clean, organized, and professional front office
- Brings professionalism and empathy to every patient interaction
- Can multitask without missing the details
- Thrives in a team but works independently when needed
- Keeps calm and collected in a fast-paced medical office
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years of experience in a medical office setting
- Working knowledge of Epic (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail, professionalism, and discretion
- Ability to multitask and remain flexible throughout the day
