What we are looking for.
ODL is a high-tech orthodontic laboratory leading innovation in AI, automation, and 3D printing. We are seeking an internal Systems Analyst & Developer to lead business process automation/optimization efforts across our platforms- primarily Odoo focused (ERP & CRM). This person will act as the lead in all organizational efforts to identify, build, and implement workflow solutions across our tech stack to ensure our infrastructure aligns with business needs, improves operational efficiency, and supports long-term scalability. They will work in close collaboration with business leadership to identify inefficiencies, develop solutions, and streamline operations through custom automation and workflow enhancements; and then maintain and improve these within the business over time.
Qualified candidates don’t require experience with Odoo but should have proficient-level experience with Python and Javascript development, process automation, and/or ERP customization. They will also have experience with building API/system integration solutions, user interface creation/improvement, and report building, and dashboard construction (XML, QWeb, and PostgreSQL). Finally, qualified candidates must not only have demonstrated successful technical/developer experience, but also must have demonstrated experience in a “customer-facing” role collaborating on solutions, workflow buildout (in manufacturing or related preferred), and implementation/training. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, ERP system architecture, and the ability to develop and customize ERP functionality.
What we also offer that sets us apart:
This is unique opportunity for someone who enjoys both problem-solving and technical development, and is interested in being a leader in full-cycle project efforts to leverage systems to drive business success. Compared to traditional Business Analyst or Developer roles, our opportunity allows you to work across platforms and modules, as well as be both technical and “customer” facing within your scope of work- you are not “pigeon-holed”. Finally, we offer a great work/life balance compared to typical technical teams, with a primarily Monday-Friday day-time operation- all inside of a startup culture run by a 2nd generation of business owners.
Other benefits include:
- Generous Paid Time Off: Starting at 2 weeks
- Performance Based bonuses
- 401K with company match
- Company-paid life insurance
- Health Benefits such as medical, vision and dental
- Great company campus that includes a courtyard, with multiple bars, restaurants and a gym close by, and a 5 minute walk to Wegmans.
- Annual company party events
If you are a driven software engineer passionate about creating impact in a cutting-edge, technology-focused environment, we encourage you to apply. Join ODL and be at the forefront of innovation in orthodontic technology.
