As a Laser Therapy Technician at this franchised location, you’re responsible for administering MLS therapy laser treatments to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. You will work on a team with other laser technicians led by a Center Director under the direction of a Physician.
Essential responsibilities of a Laser Technician include:
· Administering MLS Laser Therapy treatments (2-3 in one hour)
· Attending to patient needs to promote best treatment practices
· Commitment to continuing education with Laser technique and science
· Promoting and ensuring safe treatment environment
· Keeping treatment areas organized and sanitary
· Completing well documented patient progress notes
· Explaining laser therapy principles and science to existing and prospective patients
Education, Skills and Training:
· Certification or degree, completed or in progress, in a medical related field (preferred)
· Athletic Trainers, Personal Trainers, Physical Therapy Assistants, Massage Therapists and Orthopedic MA’s are ideal
· Experience and working knowledge of orthopedic conditions
· Minimum of associates degree (or similar) in medical field
· Prior medical experience with musculoskeletal conditions
· Medical experience working in patient care
· Self-motivator with the ability to identify and solve problems.
· Working knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology
· Proficient computer skills
· Adaptive to new technology and eager to self-learn
· Organized
· Able to stand for long periods of time
· Proficient multi-tasker
Communications and Personal Interactions:
· Discretion and ability to maintain and respect patient confidentiality
· A strong desire to care for people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
· Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence in speaking directly with current patients, prospective patients, and medical providers
· Ability to positively influence patients and your community via communicating thought leadership to build confidence in laser therapy
· Excellent Customer Service skills and constant commitment to delivering exceptional experiences

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
