Overview :
The Laser Technician will be responsible for managing all aspects of our laser equipment for laser welding technology and operations. Responsibilities will include maintenance, operations, parts inventory and auxiliary equipment for production.
Coordinating with the department managers, set-up techs, and equipment operators you will maintain safe reliable equipment operations for quality production. You will communicate equipment update needs and to the GM and manage external vendors for parts, repairs and equipment.
Responsibilities :
- Equipment preventative maintenance.
- Manage the updating and installation of equipment.
- Equipment troubleshooting.
- Assist in training operators and department leaders.
- Maintain the parts inventory.
- Mainatain a clean and safe work area.
- Assist in projects with other departments to meet company objectives.
