Position Summary : Systems Administrator at OrthoNebraska is pivotal in maintaining and supporting the hospital's IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operation and support for clinical and administrative activities. This role involves supporting and maintaining complex systems, managing and administrating IT system, and resolving advanced technical issues. The Systems Administrator works closely with IT and clinical teams to maximize system reliability, ensure data security, and support the hospital's mission to provide exceptional care.

Position requirements
Education : Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but IT experience and professional certifications will be considered in place of a degree.

Experience : 2 years of technical support or system administration experience
Required Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP / DNS, and basic networking principles.
- Knowledge of Horizon VDI environment, VMware vSphere, or other virtualization platforms a plus.
- Strong knowledge of information security best practices.
- Ability to implement IT system upgrades.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
Essential Job Functions
Physical requirements : This position is classified as Medium Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
