We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Orthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures and assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating orthopedic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort.
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of the musculoskeletal system, adjusting and maintaining equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Follow established guidelines to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Communicate effectively with immediate coworkers as well as those throughout the clinic.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have completed formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved program or have an associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Previous experience as an X-ray technologist, preferably in an orthopedic or hospital setting.
- ARRT certification required.
