Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina is seeking a dynamic Director of Orthopaedic Injury Express Urgent Care to lead our Injury Express department.
This full-time (40 hours per week) role requires occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
We're looking for an experienced healthcare professional with strong leadership skills and a background in orthopedics to manage our Injury Express locations and mid-level providers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, strategic thinking, and a commitment to innovation in orthopedic urgent care.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, and direct the overall operation of our Orthopedic Injury Express Urgent Care centers
· Oversee clinical operations, strategic planning, and quality improvement initiatives
· Evaluate patients independently and provide expert orthopedic care
· Develop and implement strategies to grow the orthopedic urgent care service line
· Collaborate with physicians, other departments, and marketing teams to enhance patient care and service offerings
· Manage administrative duties including scheduling, payroll processing, hiring, and performance evaluations
· Participate in leadership meetings to drive strategic improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals
· Develop and deliver educational activities for staff and patients
· Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field; Master's degree in Management or Business preferred
· Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) Required
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in orthopedic and/or urgent care settings, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
· Demonstrated understanding of orthopedic urgent care operations and management principles
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
· Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office suite
