Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina is seeking a Director of Injury Express to manage our Injury Express Urgent Care department. Candidates must be licensed Physician Assistants.
This position is full-time (40 hours per week) including work on some weekends and holidays.
We are looking for an experienced PA with advanced interpersonal skills to manage mid-level providers at various Injury Express Urgent Care locations. An ideal candidate would have a strong background in orthopedics, knowledge and vision about the future of the PA profession, demonstrate excellent judgment in new and complex situations, ability to take on multiple projects and educate the staff to remain innovative and relevant in the field of orthopedics.

A candidate should possess the ability to work with efficiency and quality in a multi-specialty orthopaedic practice. Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing the Injury Express Urgent Care department and locations
- Evaluating patients independently
- Interpreting radiographs
- Evening and weekend Injury Express Urgent Care coverage
- Preparing and delivering learning activities (lecture, lab, small group)
- Collaborating with other departments, physicians, and marketing
- Administrative duties including payroll processing, hiring and evaluating providers, scheduling, and participating in director meetings
