Certified Radiologic (X-Ray) Tech

Job Summary: OrthoLA is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Tech to join our fast-paced clinic. Our expertise spans across conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, knee, hip, ankle, and foot. Specializing in musculoskeletal injuries that impact individuals and athletes of all ages, we are dedicated to helping our patients regain their quality of life. Duties/Responsibilities: Responsible for carrying out x-ray procedures as ordered by physicians. Helps prepare patients for x-ray and reports results. Checks x-ray supplies and maintains equipment to the best of his/her ability. Advises supervisor and medical staff of any problems with x-ray procedures, efficiency, safety, and overall service. Apply knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to accurately position patients for imaging. Track records of all x-rays taken daily. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Professional, dependable, and maintains positive attitude. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent BLS Certification preferred ARRT Certification Required Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching. Physical strength and agility to position patients for a variety of diagnostic examinations.
