Orthopedic Health of Kansas City (OHKC) is in search of a Front Desk Patient Representative. OHKC is a private orthopedic surgery practice with three locations throughout the Kansas City area with approximately 150 employees. We have been a trusted provider of orthopedic care in the Kansas City region for more than 70 years. The Front Desk Patient Representative will work at our beautiful new North Kansas City, MO office located at 1950 Diamond Parkway, Suite 100, North Kansas City, MO 64116. We are looking for team members with good communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Foster a sense of compassion and confidence when greeting patients.
- Accurately check in & out patients, collect updated information and enter in EMR.
- Review patient paperwork to ensure completeness.
- Collect copays and other charges.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
- High school diploma required.
- Excellent attendance required.
