Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator for a full-time opportunity with flexible scheduling at our Knoxville Orthopaedic Clinic in West Knoxville. The Scheduling Coordinator role will schedule surgeries and outpatient procedures/tests, referrals and appointments. Additionally, the Scheduling Coordinator will clearly communicate with patients by providing instructions/information regarding their surgery/procedures and schedule follow up appointments, documents actions on paper, EMR and EHR, obtains prior authorization/approval for workman’s compensation cases, maintains accurate physicians surgical appointment schedule, knowing and keeping current with requirements of multiple physicians and insurance companies.
