Job Summary :
We are looking for a creative and highly motivated Manager, Consumer Engagement to join our fast-paced, agile beauty brand. The Manager, Consumer Engagement will be at the forefront of executing digital strategies aimed at connecting and building relationships with Gen Z consumers for our beauty brand. This role requires a dynamic leader with expertise in digital marketing, consumer behavior analysis, and social media engagement to drive brand visibility, engagement, and loyalty, while optimizing the brand's digital presence.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping and leading digital engagement strategies, building a strong online community, and ensuring that the brand resonates with younger, trend-savvy audiences. They will also manage the overall digital engagement efforts, from content creation and influencer partnerships to customer experience, while ensuring brand consistency and relevance in a fast-evolving beauty industry. By leading and executing innovative digital engagement strategies, the Manager, Consumer Engagement will play a critical role in the success of the brand, helping it scale and resonate with Gen Z audiences while fostering brand loyalty and long-term growth.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
- Digital Strategy Development & Execution :
- Create & Implement Digital Engagement Strategies : Lead the digital strategy to grow brand visibility, engagement, and awareness among Gen Z consumers , focusing on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube .
- Tailor Campaigns for Gen Z : Develop data-driven digital marketing campaigns with creative, shareable content that reflects Gen Z's values and interests (e.g., sustainability, diversity, authenticity, self-expression).
- Innovative Campaigns : Introduce cutting-edge approaches like AR filters , interactive videos, TikTok challenges, and live-streamed events that captivate Gen Z's attention.
- Social Media & Content Strategy :
- Content Creation & Management : Oversee the creation and distribution of content on digital platforms (social media, website, blogs, etc.). Collaborate with designers, content creators, and influencers to ensure brand messaging is aligned with the Gen Z audience.
- Influencer & UGC Strategy : Lead influencer partnerships and user-generated content (UGC) initiatives to authentically promote the brand. Manage and grow influencer and ambassador programs that resonate with Gen Z's values.
- Platform-Specific Content : Optimize content for various platforms (e.g., TikTok videos, Instagram Reels, Snapchat stories) while ensuring the brand remains consistent across all digital touchpoints.
- Influencer Partnerships :
- Lead Influencer Outreach : Lead the identification, outreach, and management of influencer partnerships that align with the brand's ethos and appeal to Gen-Z consumers.
- Develop Influencer Campaign Briefs : Develop creative briefs, manage content creation, and track influencer campaign performance.
- Community Building : Build and maintain relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors, ensuring seamless collaboration and brand alignment.
- Product Seeding & Gifting : Create a strategic product seeding program to gift new beauty products to influencers, editors, and high-profile consumers within Gen Z's target audience. This will create organic, user-generated content and press buzz around the product launch.
- Partnerships & Sponsorships : Forge partnerships with notable figures or organizations (like sustainability advocates, beauty activists, or wellness brands) that align with the brand's values and ethos. These partnerships can generate media coverage and build credibility.
- Campaign End-to-End Management : Monitor influencer content to ensure it is on-brand, timely, and resonates with the target audience.
- Audience Engagement & Community Building :
- Foster Community Growth : Build and nurture a loyal digital community through proactive engagement. Respond to comments, messages, and posts to establish a genuine connection with followers.
- Engagement Tactics : Use features like polls, Q&A sessions, and live events to encourage interaction with the audience. Focus on creating a sense of belonging within the brand's online community.
- Leverage Social Listening : Monitor trends and conversations to identify opportunities to engage with Gen Z in real-time, responding to their feedback and adapting strategies based on their interests and preferences.
- Digital Campaign Management & Optimization :
- Manage End-to-End Campaigns : Manage the development, execution, and optimization of digital-first campaigns, including organic content and influencer collaborations.
- KPIs and Performance Tracking : Continuously monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on engagement metrics, such as likes, shares, comments, and conversions.
Content Optimization : Use data insights to test different campaign creatives, content formats, and approaches, ensuring continuous improvement of engagement and results.
