Your Responsibilities:
Significant activities in the role are medical billing operations, accurate claim submission, account reconciliation, insurance follow up and denial appeals. You must be able to provide the highest level of customer service by efficiently resolving insurance and billing related issues for clients. You will review and analyze health care provider claims and identify trends and issues within the revenue cycle process. There is a balance of team collaboration with independent decision making. You will be required to dive in, review accounts and offer ideas and strategies to improve internal processes for both our internal and external customers.
Education and/or Experience:
We prefer a candidate with demonstrated medical accounts receivable or insurance follow up background, however, we are all about considering applicants with office or healthcare related experience. This is also a great first job for a new graduate with a bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or related field. We are willing to train if you are willing to learn and grow. Minimum, high school degree required. Must have phenomenal organizational and computer skills and be well versed in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and work well under quality and productivity standards understanding that high quality is a non- negotiable.
