The IT Support Lead at Osage Nation Health System plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of all desktop and end-user systems supporting the health system operations. In this position, you will supervise the desktop support team and provide technical assistance for staff members utilizing clinical and administrative systems. Your role will be essential in supporting the mission of the clinic to deliver culturally sensitive and high-quality healthcare to the community. The Desktop Support Lead Technician will also mentor junior team members, ensuring compliance with healthcare IT standards, security protocols, and HIPAA requirements.
Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
- Requires a minimum of 5 years combined desktop support and supervisory experience.
- Requires strong technical proficiency in supporting Windows operating systems (Desktop and Server).
- Knowledge of clinical systems, EHRs, and healthcare IT infrastructure preferred.
- Requires experience with remote support tools, ServiceNow ticketing system, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare IT security standards is preferred.
- Requires excellent communication skills and ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
- Requires the ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and support urgent technical issues.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST), or ITIL preferred.
- Requires an understanding of and respect for Native American cultures and traditions.
- Must have a Valid drivers license and be willing to travel between ONHS locations, as necessary.
