Quality Control Manager/Inspector
Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality in commercial and large-scale residential construction projects? Osborne Construction Company (OCC) seeks a dedicated Quality Control Manager/Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and maintain an effective quality control system to ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards.
Position Requirements:
- Minimum five years of experience managing construction Quality Control Programs.
- Familiarity with the USACE Three-Phase Quality Control process.
- USACE QC Certification required (OCC will facilitate training).
- No degree is needed for this role!
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering.
- ICC Inspector Certification desirable (OCC will support the certification process).
Compensation: $90K - $130K DOE
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage the submittal review and approval process.
- Organize preparatory meetings for each Definable Feature of Work.
- Conduct Initial and Follow-Up Inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Attending coordination meetings with stakeholders.
- Track and resolve construction deficiencies.
- Produce Daily Reports and submit them to the client.
- Coordinate and supervise Special Inspectors and AHJ inspections.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Stop work if necessary to enforce contract compliance.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Prior quality control experience on military or equivalent projects is desirable.
- Industrial experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and management abilities.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DOD) gate pass (if applicable).
