Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Title Processor to join our attorney led team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for facilitating the closing process of real estate transactions by preparing and reviewing title documents, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and coordinating closing.
Duties
- Prepare and review title documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct thorough research on property titles to identify any liens or encumbrances.
- Coordinate with loan officers, banks, and other parties involved in the transaction to gather necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with FNMA guidelines and Fair Housing regulations throughout the processing of loans.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and correspondence related to title processing.
- Communicate effectively with buyers/sellers, real estate agents, and lenders to facilitate smooth closings.
- Assist in resolving any issues that may arise during the title processing phase.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in math skills for accurate calculations related to loans and contracts.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
