Principal Objective of Position:
The Sales Director will own the relationship and program management of all customers.
The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for growing sales to current customers and expanding the customer base of an assigned geographic region by responding to customer requests, qualifying potential opportunities, cold-calling prospective customers, and building upon existing customer relationships.

- Manage 4-10 Outside Sales Reps
- Make Sales forecast and budgets
- Interface as the key liaison to the operations and supply chain from Sales
- Manage program launches
- Quote Management
- Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Conduct market analysis and identify emerging trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Establish clear performance metrics and KPIs to track and evaluate sales performance.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the sales team.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead negotiations for major contracts and manage high-stakes client interactions.
- Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities and business development initiatives.
- Develop and implement strategies for market penetration and competitive positioning.
- Oversee the execution of sales campaigns and initiatives to drive market share growth.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service, to ensure cohesive and effective go-to-market strategies.
· Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
- Mechanical engineering (not technology) 4 year degree
- Must have experience in CNC and metals
- Must have experience in GD&T, APQP, and IATF
- Minimum 8 years prior experience in assembly or part manufacturing industries.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Must have used and implemented CRM
- Must have excellent excel and pricing / costing/ estimating skills
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions from them.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, surface tester, height gauge.
- Proficient with layout inspection methods.
- Having a six sigma in quality is a plus
- Ability to foster a continuous improvement environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong mathematical and computation skills.
- Ability to guide and lead with compassion.
- Strong time management skills.
- Able to adapt to constantly changing needs and objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Ax process knowledge and understanding of how the system affects other departments.
Work Environment:
This job operates primarily in a professional office setting. Some work will be performed in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
