Responsibilities:
- Oversee training and certification of field personnel, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain regular communication between site teams, Project Managers, and stakeholders to address issues and keep projects on track.
- Represent field operations in meetings, providing solutions to challenges as they arise.
- Serve as the main point of contact between field teams and cross-functional departments (Engineering, Compliance, Pre-Construction, Procurement, O&M).
- Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to QA/QC plans, design specifications, and safety requirements.
- Perform performance evaluations for Site Managers and Field Staff, fostering opportunities for growth and development.
- Lead and manage field operations for utility-scale solar projects, ensuring effective execution at project sites.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align site teams with project schedules, budgets, and objectives.
- Ensure strong understanding of civil, mechanical, and electrical aspects of solar PV projects.
- Oversee daily site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Manage and allocate field resources across multiple projects to ensure timely and successful completion.
- Review project schedules, documents, and drawings to ensure site readiness and proper execution.
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize field efficiency and ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of Construction Management
- 6 years in Utility-Scale Solar
- OSHA 10
- Expertise in project scheduling, construction documentation, QA/QC processes, and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Trimble Viewpoint or Procore is a plus.
- NABCEP certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
