SENIOR SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER, US West Coast & British Columbia

What You’ll Do:

  • Build Partnerships: Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers, positioning OSF Flavors as their preferred partner.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Create and implement Account Development Plans (ADPs) with clear growth objectives, driving new business while strengthening existing partnerships.
  • Deliver Tailored Solutions: Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and other teams to provide customized flavor solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Negotiate & Optimize: Manage pricing agreements and account terms within company guidelines to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Lead Project Management: Oversee customer projects, samples, and studies, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality results.
  • Report & Analyze: Provide regular updates and performance reports to senior management, offering valuable market insights and recommendations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience: 5-10 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the flavor or food industry, with a strong record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
  • Education: B.S. in Business, Sales, Marketing, or Food Science—or a similar degree combined with relevant technical sales experience.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of key customers and competitors in the U.S. and Canadian food and beverage markets.
    • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities.
    • Self-motivated and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Sage or similar CRM systems is a plus.
