What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI Technologist II position at OSF HealthCare?
Expected pay for this position is $34.22 - $40.26/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The MRI Technologist II cares for patients while operating equipment to produce high quality images for radiologist interpretation. In addition, the MRI Technologist II is responsible for EMR/PACS navigation, general patient care, positioning patients, providing procedure information and executing proper imaging protocol/technique for all examinations. Complies with all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate from Accredited school of Radiologic Technology or MRI accredited program.
Experience: 1 year MRI experience
Licensure/ Certification: Radiology Registration.
Advanced MRI Certification – ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Certification.
BLS American Heart Association.
Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years' experience in an imaging modality (CT/Diagnostic)
