What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Transition to Practice Regional Coordinator position at OSF HealthCare?
Pay range for this position is $39.37 - $56.73/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Transition to Practice Regional Site Coordinator is accountable for the education and facility orientation for new graduate nurses of the transition to practice program. The position is responsible for ensuring the transition to practice program is consistently operationalized at all facility sites within the assigned region. The coordinator assists in developing transition to practice content to meet the clinical and nursing strategic goals. Additionally, the position develops productive and collegial relationships with the interprofessional team across the ministry.
This position is based in Galesburg, however, it has a Hybrid working schedule, meaning that candidates would be able to work remotely after training and orientation are complete.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing or BSN with other Master’s Degree (MHA, MBA, or similar)
- Experience: 5 years of clinical experience
- Licensure/ Certification: Basic Life Support Certification
- Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: DNP
- Experience: 2 years of leadership experience, education and/or experience in adult learning principles
- Licensure/ Certification: Leadership or Nursing Professional Development - Board Certified (NPD - BC) certification
