Job Title : CT Technician
Job Specialty : CT - Computed Tomography
Job Duration : 13 weeks (with potential extension to 20 weeks)
Shift : 12-hour nights
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Previous travel experience, previous Level 1 trauma experience, GE equipment experience
License : ARRT (CT), Illinois License
Certifications : AHA BLS
Must-Have : EPIC experience, Must have Level 1 experience, Must have GE equipment experience
Job Description :
- Perform general CT scanning procedures, starting IVs, and conducting CT scans
- Utilize GE equipment for all imaging processes
- Operate within a minimal staffing environment, requiring independence and minimal assistance
- Work in a department with 640 beds and five CT scanners in operation
- Follow a dress code of standard scrubs
- Participate in orientation specific to the radiology department and CT space, including training on one or two CT scanners and familiarization with workflow and scanning protocols
- Understand and adhere to the drug-free campus policy requiring a negative drug screen for all panels
