What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st shift - Pack & Inspect position at OSI Group?
This Position will perform a variety of task such as box creation, labeling packing, lining
weighing and inspecting of product.
Requires an individual to understand the production process as well as cross
check the product codes and label.
Responsible for monitoring the product feed into the boxes as the line moves
Employees must keep pace with the speed of the line as necessary
Additionally, they review the production schedule in order to verify the appropriate box and
and setting have been selected.
Employees should report any issue to the appropriate team members.
At the end of the shift properly put away all supplies.
Follow all GMP`s (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Report any unusual activities in or around the plant to management, ASAP.
Any other duties to maintain the operation of the plant, as needed.
This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
